Jenson Button V Lewis Hamilton
So here we have it folks! 2010 should be a very exciting year I guess! The two best British drivers we have seen for a long time and in the same cars! what could possibly be better than this for F1 in 2010.
Forgetting wages and backing and set ups etc, I can't think of a more exciting season a foot. Back to basics and pure racing skills is all I want to watch next year and on paper it is set to be an amazing time for the most expensive motor sport. I would imagine Mr Eccelstone is a very happy man as this unusual team up will drag in even more cash for him and the sport.
So what do we think of Jenson and Lewis? do we like the team up or will it be war and bust ups? well time will only tell but I think they will respect each other and I can foresee some stunning racing with wheel to wheel action. Maybe some races will come down to pit stops or bad weather, but all I know is that they are both professional young guys with a love for racing and have done since they were both children. I guess we will have to sit back and watch the year unfold or save like crazy or do some overtime to catch a live race! Silverstone maybe?? well not Donington! not this year any how.
I have only been to one qualifying session and that was at Silverstone the year it was washed out! we had to park about two miles away from the track and walk in. The second we got out of the car we could hear the stunning sounds from the F1 cars, it really is a wonderful noise in real life and if only once you should go and watch a race as the atmosphere is electric! Next year I think this will be tenfold, great young drivers with such a passion for the sport and to be the best will make 2010 one of the years to watch in history! mark my words, it WILL be a very interesting year. Go and be a part of it.

If you fancy drivng some HOT cars for the day? then Thruxton circuit do all sorts of race days. This is not a promo for them but they are just up the road from me and a few friends have had a good day out there. They do complain that its not long enough!! but we would.
This year I intend to go to a couple of races, normally just qualifying as I like to watch the full race on tv. You just don't know what is going on sometimes when your there. Don't forget to take your camera! radio and ear defenders!
